Another website was born this year and it is called "Laganap: Sikat ang Pinoy." It is as you can see a Filipino-owned website written in Tagalog. It contains stuff about the stories of different heroes and unsung heroes of the Philippines. One of the focus of the site is to uplift the morale of the Filipino people and change the negative impression of foreign countries to the people of the Philippines. Sikat ang Pinoy when translated in English means, "Filipino are Popular" but actually it has a deeper and more meaningful definition. Its signifies the strength and positive traits of Pinoys from working, entertainment, sports and good relationship to other countries. Sikat ang Pinoy writers are all Filipinos by blood and heart.

You can now visit the site at http://www.laganap.com and read all the stuff. Of course, it is only intended for Tagalog speaking people but there's a link on the site that allows you to read it in English translation. However, Google translate is not really that good in translation yet when it comes to Tagalog but it still can translate a few of the words.

One of the exciting boxing event is the fight between the best of the Philippines and the number one of Puerto Rico. It is Pacquiao vs. Cotto in November 14 from HBO. This two are known on their place to be one of the greatest fighter with different kinds of style. Cotto's current boxing title is at state on this match while the crown of the pound for pound king is in the line too. Being the Ring Magazine's top pound for pound position, Pacman is the favorite of the crowd but still Miguel Cotto is considered by a lot of analysts to be one of the most dangerous opponent that Pacquiao might encounter later.

This May 2009, another challenge was made into action and the target phrase for the month is "eriuqs spires healthy recreation." The phrase refers to the different tasks and healthy activities in a real estate property in Red Lodge, Montana called "The Spires." This competition started last April and will end by May 29, 2009. A lot of specialists from different part of the world joins the said contest and trying their best to cope up with the changes on the algorithms of the rankings. Currently, it is in the middle of the competition already and the index pages started to become stable and not moving for a week because of the different methods applied by the competition.
